Powered by seven top-binned CREE LED's, a pair of R7's will throw a whopping 15,036 lumens of usable light hundreds of yards down your path. The extra distance and spread of the crystal clear 5000K daylight produced enables you to better see and be seen. Trailside animals, pedestrians, and other hazards are more quickly perceived and reacted to.

The key difference between the R7 and R4 are output and size. Both utilize machined optics to provide both a flood and spot beam pattern. If riding a larger adventure bike (GSA, SAR, Multistrada), the ideal setup is to install a set of R4 and R7 lights. With the R4's used as a DRL (daytime running light), and the R7 wired into your stock high beam switch, you will enjoy being seen by other motorists during the day and have all the firepower in the world for night missions across the desert.

From a product perspective, the R7 light (or the pair) is an extremely good option. While field is somewhat crowded, at the very top (from an output perspective) there are only a few choices. I have been thrilled with mine. Mid summer, I had one light die and I have no idea what the cause was. I reached out to the good people at Ruby Moto who sent me a replacement light right away, standing by their lifetime warranty. No hoops to jump through, just solid, professional communication and quick action. I'm back up and running again with both lights and I remain thrilled with both the lights performance and the company. Well done gang!
Installed the R7s on my 1290SAR with the canbus system. Ive never had such an awesome light setup the works so well with the bikes electronics. Night time rides are now daytime rides. These lights are no joke! Im very happy with them! Thanks Eric and the family!
Install was super easy and unnoticeable on the wiring harness. Lights are top notch and have the brightest lights in the game
Unfortunately there is no amount of light that will help with dimwitted drivers but you do have the ability to burn their retinas and hopefully prevent them from driving in the future so that's a positive in my book. Once at your destination, spin that mirrored ball, shine your RUBY moto lights up and cast that party awesomeness vibe. What more is there?
