How does 10x'ing your auxiliary light output in 10 minutes in your own garage sound? It's finally here, the RUBY plug and play R4 is ready for liftoff. Simply remove your factory fog light with one bolt, set this in it's place, reinstall bolt, insert your R4 in to the same connector you just unplugged, and voila you are finished. Literally 10 minutes with one tool. No error lights, no fuss, simply plug and play and you're off to the races using your same BMW switch.
The R4 has the most lumens by volume in the industry. Packed into a 2.3" diameter housing, 4,296 crystal-clear lumens in a finely tuned optical array far outshine the competition. No one else comes close to the level of output and performance in such a small package. 'How is this possible?' you might be wondering. Because we are the only brand using billet aluminum for our housing, as opposed to cast aluminum. Billet is stronger and superior to cast across the board, especially in regards to heat dissipation. Simply put, others cant handle the heat.
Our specially tuned optics provide the ideal combination beam pattern. Around 65% of your light in the center view, with the remainder fading into a nice even gradient to both periphery. This combination is the ideal setup, enabling you to better see and be seen. Trailside animals, pedestrians, and other hazards are more quickly perceived and reacted to. Likewise oncoming vehicles will see and react to you significantly quicker during the daytime when lit with a pair of R4. Enjoy being seen by others during the day, and have all the firepower in the world for night missions across the desert.
NOTE 1: To ensure fitment unplug the connector out of the OEM light. If the connector is yellow and rectangular that version of light is not compatible. (Image 6) We are currently working on a solution for these connectors.
NOTE 2: When fitting on an R1300 GS, an error will be presented that your left auxiliary light has been disconnected. All switched and bike functions remain normal, the error can be removed by your local dealer. Your bike will function normally regardless.
Kit includes a pair of R4, pair of Hyper-Vis Lens Covers, 2014 and newer BMW R1200 GS & GSA, R1250 GS & GSA, 1300 GS fog light mounting brackets, Conversion Cables to allow plug and play capability with BMW connectors. Everything you need to install your new lights is included in this kit.

I just want to ask if they work when switching from low beam to high beam

Great lights, installation only took a few minutes. Wish there was a way to dim them, they are too bright to use with 2 way traffic
Bright is right! All RUBY lights can be dimmed with the proper controller. Where the PNP lights are controlled by the BMW controller on your handlebars, indeed they are either on or off. If you'd like to have the ability to dim, you'd need either the BMW ezCAN controller, or wire harness and dimmer switch. Happy to help get that sorted at info@rubymoto.com for support. Easy to install, fast shipping and packaging, so far great quality and performance, lastly plug and play no error codes.
I purchased these for my 2024 R1250GSA. It took me about 10 minutes to remove the stock lights and mount and wire these. I also installed a set of the new Lone Rider Moto Lights along with these and was planning on these primarily being for daytime visibility. All I can say is that between the LR and these I am more impressed with these for the cost and ease of install than I am the LR. The LR lights are great but these little lights are absolutely crazy bright, they fill in everything in front of the tire and below the standard light pattern and the hue of the lights with the Hyper Viz cover just stands out from anything else on the road. If I was only going to do one light upgrade it would be these over LR or Denali or anything else because they work seamlessly with the factory wiring, punch way above their size are completely easy and fast to install and are reasonably priced considering you don't need an EZ-Can or anything else. All I can say is if you're on the fence just go ahead and get a set, they are fantastic.
