***NOTE*** we are out of stock on the R4. The demand has been huge and we continue to outsell our ability to produce. The next batch will arrive in April and will likely sell out before then. Lock in your pricing today and ensure you get a pair in the next round.
8,592 crystal clear optically focused lumens will get you from A to Zimbabwe. With eight top-binned CREE LED's, a pair of R4's generates more than 8,000 lumens.
Like their big brother the R7, the extra distance and spread of the crystal clear 5000K daylight produced enables you to better see and be seen. Trailside animals, pedestrians, and other hazards are more quickly perceived and reacted to. Don't just survive a ride at dusk, enjoy the scenery along the way.
The key difference between the R4 and R7 are output and size. Both utilize machined optics to provide both a flood and spot beam pattern. If riding a larger adventure bike (GSA, SAR, Multistrada), the ideal setup is to install a set of R4 and R7 lights. With the R4's used as a DRL (daytime running light), and the R7 wired into your stock high beam switch, you will enjoy being seen by others during the day and have all the firepower in the world for night missions across the desert.
Sold as both pairs and single units. Pairs of lights arrive in a special RUBY branded box, single light orders are individually wrapped without the RUBY box.
A single R4 is rated at 4,296 lumens, 8,592 lumens as a pair.

Superior product. Provides excellent daytime visibility with the yellow lens covers. At night or in low light situations the white light is bright and really illuminates your way ahead.
Amazing product and spectacular customer service!
Mounting the R4's on the crashbars on my KTM 1290 SAR was easy and a great fit. I had trouble setting up the EXHexCAN and getting it registered though. Their customer service was great and finally got me going. The hardest part was taking off the body work and running the wires. Now that it is all done I took it for a ride today and everything worked great. I started out with full brightness on daytime low beam and had all sorts of people flashing their brights at me. I turned them down to 40% and it's a good combination of cars seeing me without blinding them. Can't wait to ride in the dark and see how they work. Lots of light in a small package. Recommended!
If I were a non-technical person and someone installed my lights, I would rave about the light quality and how good they look. If I were a technical person and installed my own lights, I would first marvel at how much quality is built into the design of everything I installed. Well, as a 50+ year Automotive Master Tech and specializing in electrical, let me tell you how much of a joy this product is for me. The connectors are first rate with their waterproof collar locks. No corrosion will get in here. Second, the angle mount for the lights themselves are a bit of genius. You can install them three different ways and at first glance I thought these were self tapping screws. Nope! Custom cut threads in the aluminum. The lamps themselves are heavy units constructed of billet aluminum with fins that dissipate the heat effectively, not to mention they are a work of art. When pairing them up with a CanBus module and Ruby's conversion cables, are truly plug and play. The wiring is first rate. Each part I assembled or handled made me realize how much thought went into each piece. These lights are truly worth the time it took to install (not long) and I look forward to many years with them on the bike. Oh yeah! The light that throws from the lamps are outstanding as well and they look great!
